Hi all,

I have configured a single logong group and assigned it to all instance (App Servers and CI) .

How will the users logon and how will the load abalancing happens ,

Does setting up logon group in SMLG alone is enough?

OR Can the users logon specifying the "Logon group" instead of the Hostname ? .. PLease let me know how the load balancing works.

Hi

After the logon group is created. You need to set it up on end user's SAP Logon pad.

You have to perform this on each an every system, belong to the user identified for load balancing.

On the SAP frontend gui you will find a button as Groups. Press it and enter the details like SID and message server and then press generate list. It should enlist all created groups in your system.

Save it and ask user to use it for logon purpose.
