Hello,
There was an issue with work processes UP2 type in SRM System and for a while some bakckground processes could not be completed. So we end up with some Purchased Orders with status waiting for approval but there are no Workitems for these POs.
When we try to modify these POs we receive the error: Document is still being processed in the background; Try Again Later
So we look up in Table BBP_WFLOCK but there was nothing also had a look in SM13 and SM50 to look for processes running that could be locking the POs but found nothing.
So we'd like to know if it's possible to unlock the documents modifying table data or something. If so please provide TABLEs or Transactions names.
Regards.
Had a similar instance and found that there was an entry in SM58 - Asynchronous RFC Error Log.
Regards
Colin

Hi,
Seems like your workflow is not complete as it says awaiting approval.
Please check the following :
1) SM37 Any of your jobs hanging or cancelled.
2) SWU3 Maintain Runtime Environment -- all green ticks.
If it is all green there are some background jobs for WF which is mandatory to complete the process. SWWDHEX, SWWERRE, SWEQSRV and so on.
3) Go to Process purchase orders or issue purchase orders and see Header data --> Output and see the log whether your PO is successfully processed or incorrect or the error status.
4) Logoff from all the systems and see if there are any hangups of http in SM04 as some other user would have opened the same document.
If everything is fine, then I think you have to implement the OSS note.
Best regards,
Sridhar
