SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Java Trial Version -> does it contain all PI components

Hello all,

Can anyone tell me if the SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Java Trial Version found at:

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/e0576c7e-e306-2a10-37b8-a25d82e6...

contains all the SAP PI Java components?

A client is asking me to verify if this trial version contains the Java parts of SAP PI.

Any feedback would be highly appreciated.

No doesn't look like PI.

As I know there exist no trial version of PI.

PI is not included in the Trial version of NetWeaver 7.0.

Thanks to everyone for the help given.

Although I need to find out what is required to install the Java part of PI as I believe that the ABAP part has already been installed successfully by the client... Any clear description would be highly appreciated. (i.e. which installation cd and which components?).

Hi,

There isn't a PI 7.0 oder XI 3.0 version as well.

So i guess SAP will not provide a PI 7.1 Trail on SDN.

it would be to big for a local installation ... because you need ABAP and Java Stack of the Application Server.

Hi

There is no trial version of PI, if even if there is, it will not contain all the components, cause trial version will always have something limited in them as compared to the original licensed version.

I don't think so. As you can see it is giving the components which is required for CE 7.0. I guess it will give help for CE not for PI. You can use NWDS for writing Java code if you want.
