Adobe Document Service related error

Dear All,

After installation of NetWeaver 7 when I opened the link http://portal:50200/AdobeDocumentServicesSec/Config?wsdl, I found this message, what could be the reason..

Cannot download WSDL from http://portal:50200/AdobeDocumentServicesSec/Config?wsdl: Cannot connect to http://portal:50200/AdobeDocumentServicesSec/Config?wsdl: portal

Please help...why it came, I have to check the ADS installation.

I started the server many times, still I am getting the same error.

Hi Amit,

Your ADS is not configured properly, please check the configuration.

In the SA38 transaction, run the program

FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE

and check the with Destination Service checkbox.

Is it running properly?

But I have installed AS Java System only, now how could I find the reason, how to check the proper configuration in Java based system only.

Hi Amit,

Try checking the primary ADS WDSL:

http://portal:50200/AdobeDocumentServices/Config?wsdl

I found this xml as ouput...

I found the output as..

Now can u guess the reason??

Hi Amit,

Please use the below link:

http://portal:50200/wsnavigator/enterwsdl.html

From there select AdobeDocumentServices and click on the Test link available on the top of page.

Use ADSUser/password for testing the service.

Hope you will be able to test this time.

Hi Arafat,

I did the same as u suggested, from given link when I select on the AdobeDocumentServices, it is redirected to a new page

http://portal:50200/wsnavigator/jsps/explorer.jsp?localWS=QWRvYmVEb2N1bWVudFNlcnZpY2VzL2NvbS5hZG9iZS...

initialy it try to download the services and then throws the same message---

Cannot download WSDL from http://portal:50200/AdobeDocumentServices/Config?wsdl: Cannot connect to http://portal:50200/AdobeDocumentServices/Config?wsdl: portal

Please tell me what I am missing ?

Amit,

Seems that your Web Services are not running properly, please check. Try restrting the services again.

Hi Amit,

You can start/stop services from Visual Admin tool. If this is a standalone server, try to restart the server so that all services would be restarted.

Also you need to do the required ADS Configuration if not done till now.
