Partial Stock in UD

Dear QM Experts,

I have a requirement from my user.

The GR PO quantity for material A is 1,000 bottles. The quality check will do 100% inspection.

Because the quality check take a several days, so they release some of quantities that have been passed and continue checking for the rest.

Is it possible to fulfill these requirement??

Please help me how to do this because it's urgent.

Hi,

Yes you can post the partial quantities to other stocks and remaining qty can remain in QI stock.

You can follow this process -

Go to transaction QA11 and click on inspection lot stock tab and post the partial quantity to appropriate stock.

Do not assign usage decsision code to inspection lot.

Hi,

It is possible,for this you have to do a setting in the quality view of the material master

In the inspection set up data screen

you can find a field Control insLot - select 1 An inspection lot for each material document ,material,bathc & storage Loc

By doing so the inspection lot will remain the same but you can give UD for that qty when you do the partial GR
