Background job active for a long time

Hi,

I had a problem regarding batchjobs.

A batchjob executed a week ago is still active while a batchjob executed yesterday is already finished. Both have the same variants. Is this a normal system failure. For instance, system misallocation or failure?

Nothing else to do with this job but to cancel it.

Thanks!

Hi,

Are you sure the job is really still active ? Check the status from SM37....

Do you see it running in SM66 ?

Olivier

Yes, it is still active in SM37. How can I check it in SM66?

Hello,

In that case, probably the job is not showing correct status, you need to correct the status.

In SM37 select the job then Click on the menu option Job -> Check Status

Once you do this, you will get a status message below about the job.

Hi,

This is exacly what I meant.

If he asks whe to see in SM66, it means he does not see any thing and so has no job running.

the status is obviously wrong in SM37..

Olivier
