Portal time out

Hi all,

I am trying to perform a batch of process in an application.I selected 100 records which need to be updated.Upon selction of these 100 recoreds and on click of submit it is giving portal time out after a few seconds..

Can anyone please tell me where might be the problem??

Hi Padma,

If you are getting Connection timeout error then you have to do some setting at R3 side:

You need to maintain icm/keep_alive_timeout & icm/conn_timeout parameter using Transaction RZ11.

You need to set the values for both the parameters as per your requirements.

Hi,

Here at R3 side we are not using function modules...We are using BAPI's..Then Is it possible to perform the changes given by you in the previous reply

Hi Padma,

If you have access to the RZ11 transaction then you can do those changes.

Otherwise you can ask to basis people to do those changes.
