Hello Guru's,
I need to set up a connection (SM59) from SRM to XI. Which standard connections needs to be there in the SRM system so that I have a connection to XI. I can not find documentation for that.
Best regards,
Guido
Hi,
SAP deliver a lot of XI contents for SRM. There are business package available for the standard SRM and XI integration. For this you can download from the service market place and you can make use of the standard SAP delivered objects.
Most of the time senario involves Idoc/RFC and Proxy here
Some of the docs from SAP service market place are-
go to https://websmp101.sap-ag.de/ibc -
>mySAP SRM-->and search

I would recommend to use proxies if the WAS >=6.20 and data volumes are lage.
idocs if standard is available and data volume i not very high.
rfc if the business logic is very simple.
SRM need XI just for some SRM scenarios, you can see the matrix on the SRM Master Guide:
http://service.sap.com/installation
and then goto SRM - Master Guide
Also take a look the fourm
Please reward points if it helps
Thanks

Hello Koopman,
I remember having to create RFC destinations to the Integration Server (XI), and for the CCM. I'll check my notes when I get home, then give you more details.
Warm regards,
Glenn
