Dear kk,

welcome the the SAP banking community for projects.

To support your understanding, we have divided Banking into three dimensions:

1. Banking business applications vs. process platform/service repository/NetWeaver

2. Applications on SAP ERP (Deposits, Loans Management) vs. applications on banking services (Deposits Management, Master Contract Management and Bank Analyzer)

3. Analytical vs. Transactional Banking

So there are enough focus areas to pick in consulting

1. SOA engineering, process transformation

2. Integration expert

3. Migration of data and business rules

4. Business content and solution consultant on transactional or analytical applications

The docu is also split according to dimension 2:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/7a/9aa43556903266e10000009b38f839/frameset.htm

for Banking on ERP

http://help.sap.com/content/documentation/industry/index_bank.htm

for Banking on banking services platform.

Any follow-up, please post again.

Hi Maria,

as I have posted somewhere else, I do not consider it a good idea to access the database tables directly. Please try to use the official interfaces (BAPIs, services) instead.

Kind regards,

Joerg
