QSQJRN SIZE problem

Hi,

In our QAS server, am facing JRN problem.

Error is :

Entry not journaled to journal QSQJRN Reason code 1.

In AS400 helps said: reason 1 - is JRN size need to increase.(In HDD have suffeciant space)

kindly if anyone face this kind of issue. pls guide me how to increase the JRN file size.

Hello,

without a real msg id like cpf7645 it is hard to tell ...

I would guess, that the *jrnrcv reached its max limit at 4GB or 1TB ...

Recovery for each reason code is:

1 -- If the owning user or group profile of the journal receiver has

reached its storage limit, increase the maximum storage (MAXSTG parameter on

CHGUSRPRF). If the journal receiver has reached its maximum size, change the

journal (CHGJRN) to attach a new receiver.

As I do not expect the first issue, you should run the following:

CHGJRN JRN(R3P01DATA/QSQJRN) JRNRCV(*GEN)

Then you should switch to *system as well:

CHGJRN JRN(R3P01DATA/QSQJRN) MNGRCV(*SYSTEM)
