Proforma invovice i am not able to cancell

Hi Gurus,

I am unable to cancel Pro forma invoice so pls tell me what i have to do in customization so that i can able to cancel Proforma invoice.

Pls reply me fast since mater is very urgent.

Hi

Proforma invoice will not contain / create any accounting document. it will not affect any G/L account. So you dont need to cancel the Proforma at all. it will not be an invoice... its used as dummy for invoice.. you may create more than one proforma invoices for the same sales order or Delivery...

Hi,

Yes, U can't cancel the performa invoice. Because this will not effect any FI/CO gl transactions. U can create many performa invoices for one delivery. But u can change the status to complete through VF02.

You cannot cancel the Proforma but you can change the status to "Cancelled".

Go to VF02, give the proforma reference and press on "Billing Document" on top followed by "Complete". Now check your document flow.

Proforma invoice cannot be cancelled as its is only a dummy invoice, it does not have any value posted to FI,
