512 MB R3 4.0B Dev Machin

512 MB R3 46B Dev Machine

512 MB R3 46C Machine

1 GB R3 Enterprise 4.7 Demo Machine

1 GB R3 enterprise 4.7 Dev Machine

2 GB Solution Manager 3.2

2 GB ECC 5.0 Dev Machine

2 GB ECC 6.0 Machine

2 GB Netweaver BW 3.5 Demo Machine

2 GB Netweaver

2 GB ECC 6.0 (Currently uased for upgrade testing)

2 GB MDM (Developement Server)

We are planning to consolidate and reduce the number of servers to as low as possible. Kindly suggest.

Can we put NetWeaver MDM Solution Manager and BI on one sever.I am not sure about MDM. Please suggest

PLease note there is not much load on the system all the systems are just used for developement and testing and only transport are being carried out.

This is little urgent.Suitable points will be rewarded

hi!

it should be possible to put all of this instances on one server, if this server has enough memory and cpu-power. (dont forget to add all memory of the sap intances plus databases; ~32gb +).

But it depends on your database.

Oracle should be no problem, you can install different versions (9i, 10g) one one server.

With maxdb you cannot have different versions on the same host. So check all your SAP-Rel. which db/version they need.

also check your old instnaces if they are 32bit or 64bit. Could be a problem to install 32bit on 64bit platform --> check PAM.

happy consolidation,

regards

This is not true - you can.

Just the x_server is of the highest version (and is downward compatible).

Hello

We have MDM 5.5 with Oracle 10g on the same server with SRM 5.5 (NW 7.0 based) and EP 7.0, no problem. But it is on a linux box x86_64, just make sure you don't consolidate on win with 32-bit, because you will not be able to have more than 4gb memory.

Regards

Michael
