Hi,
Could you please provide me the Procedure for SID Change for Enterprise Portal.
I have checked the Document for Sytem Copy for EP but there I don't find the SID Change Steps.
Please provide you valuable suggestions.Thanks
Follow system copy procedure and give new SID at the time of Import.

Hello,
I don't believe they spell it out anywhere, but during a system copy you can change the SID simply by using a different SID for the target system when prompted. I can't remember if it's during the export or the import step, but it will do all the database changes for you.
You can change a SID manually but I'd really advise against it for anything other than a sandbox or other fully expendable system. It's just too easy to mess up, the process is database dependant and system copies are actually quite easy to do so why bother?

Hi
You cannot change SID of the System once installed, because once you mention the SID, it is applied from SAP system to each and every table in the database.
