Difference between xMII 11.5 & 12.0

Can anyone tell that what is the difference between xMII 11.5 and 12.0?

The main difference (and it is a big one) is that 11.5 is IIS based and 12.0 is NetWeaver based. Installation of 12.0 is much more complex than 11.5. However, there are a lot of functionality improvements from 11.5. My favorite improvement is the ability to copy and paste action blocks, but there are others as well. You wont feel much difference between 11.5 and 12.0 if you have worked in 11.5.

As mike told 11.5 is built on IIS and 12.0 is on SAP Netweaver.

Main difference i feel is working in query template editor is been more relaxed in 12.0 than 11.5 since it was very pathetic editor in 11.5.

Also all the functionalities are in one place i.e SAP xMII workbench ,so loading will take place only once

you can directly test display template to see required result.

Now it is much more faster than 11.5.
