post goods issue - process

Hello all,

I would like to the process of posting a goods issue. I tried two ways. The first way was creating and confirming a transfer order for delivery using LT03 and the second option I tried was to change the outbound delivery using vl02n and posting a goods issue. I would like to know whether I can post a goods issue in the above said two ways or is there any other specific way to d. Pl. advise.

Hello,

The transfer order (LT03) comes into picture when you have WM activated. Once you activate WM, the picking process in delivery will be haapening through the tranfer order. Once you confirm the transfer order, the qty will be picked automatically in the delivery, then you PGI the delivery VL02N.

If you don't have WM activated, then you need to pick the material manually and do the PGI VL02N.

As per my knowledge you can use first way which u have tried only when WM is active . In case non Warehouse managed plant you need to manually picked goods and then PGI.this is the only to do posting goods issue
