Hi,
Invoice data and creation date always will not be same. Invoice date will be determined based on Actual goods issue date if it is delivery related billing. If it is order related billing then billing date will be taken from sales order billing date.
Creation date is on the date which u will create billing document in VF01. But invoive date may be in past or future also. Even u can change that invoice date while creating on creation date in VF01.
Hope u have under stood.

Sankar

Your invoice date will always be the "Actual GI Date" in VF01, unless you applied some user exit, which is nothing but the posting date for goods movement.
Creation date is just for statistical purpose.

Hi,
In billing document,2 dates are most relevant:
1) Billing date: This is the date on which your document will be passed to accounting. This will be same as your posting date. This date is copied from the actual goods issue date in your delivery document.
2) Billing creation date: This is the date on which invoice document is created.
Reward points if it helps.
Regards
Karan
