I want to connect a web dynpro application to a database using Java Data Objects.Can anyone suggest how to do this

One more thing is i dont have any idea of JDO if you could explain me what other features JDO reserves rather than going for JDBC.
I too want to work on that.

In the above case the system where my SQL server is situated is in a remote location.
That is why i am using the IP address and port no of the sytem and accessing that SQL server Remotely.
