Hi Basis Gurus,

I having a query like that who has done the Transport? How can i trace who has done the transport (Import).

I have tried with following steps but unable to find the right person.

1. Go to TMS and disply the appropriate queue.

2. Select menu path: Goto>Import History.

3. Select menu path: Edit> Dipaly More.

4. This will give the the "User" column.

But my problem is the transport has happened long back. is there any other way to find out old import request who has done the transport.

Please someone help me out on this.

Hi there,

You simply can see the owner of request in SE01. Just paste the request number and display. You'll see:

<request Number> <Username> <Description of request>

If you have the transport request number, you should have the transport log.

You can do what Sean has already stated else you can also search the /usr/sap/trans/log directory for the the transport request log.

Sean's method is always better though

Hi Sean,

My concern is not change owner of the request( ABAPer). I would like to know who is the person has done the transport(Import) the request from QA to Prod since long back.

Hello,

Krushna in that case you must do the following.

View Import History from STMS

Check the link below:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/85/b8e942db8911d2b449006094b9ea64/frameset.htm

By default the import history will NOT show the Importer of the request.

to view the importer of the request , you need to select the 'DISPLAY MORE' option from the Edit Menu and it will display even the importer of the request next to the owner.

Oh great,

I wish i could give points to you here

I didn't knew that, thanks for the information. I tried doing what you said in my system here, it works.

I guess you should be able to find out who performed the import now.

PS: Please mark this question as answered.
