Hi,
i have some questions depending on SAP Exchange Infrastructure.
We have an SAP ECC 6.0 System
1. How many time do I need to install, and run SAP XI (that i can develop an scenario) ?
2. Is the XI on a seperate machine or has ervery SAP System its own XI ? Installed ? (so one for test, one for develop)
regards
Hi Matthias
1. Once you Install XI in your SAP system you can run it for all the scenarios.
2. XI is a seperate server. Similar to R/3 we have Development , quality and Production server.
Reward if helpful.
regards
Vincent.

HI,
1. you need to install the SAP XI system only once and it will be Hub and Spoke architecture. XI wil be central system for all interfaces.
2. From performance and load balancing point of View its better to have XI on different systems. But you can have ECC 6.0 and XI on same system also. But not preferrable.
Thanks
Swarup

You just need to install once,

XI is a separate server like other SAP systems.
