Dear Experts,

I want to find out Work in Progress for our both CUstomer & Investment Projects.

This can be done with Results Analysis.

Can you help me understanding RA & How I can get WIP?

Thanks for the information, it was very useful, but my problem is still not solved.

I did the RA configuration steps from RA key to posting rule.

For testing I created a simple project with 1 Top+3 sub WBSE.

Created PO for one of the sub WBSE with a/c assign P.

Made the GR, actual cost Rs 3000 is shown.

When I run KKA2, I am getting Rs 3000 as WIP, RA method 01 or 09, etc.

In simluate posting rules it is showing P/L & B/S account posting 3000.

When are these posting actually done?

Is RA in tcode KKA2 sufficient, or I have to do some extra things?

Please help.

KKA2 is sufficient enough.

RA method selection depends on various criteria,

I am getting in simulate posting rules, 3000 Rs add to B/S account, remove from P/L account.

But the posting is not actually done.

What I have to do, do execute the posting?

Do I need to run settlement to execute this posting rule?

Hi

RA helps in calculating the WIP or Reserves for unrealized costs. In Simulation we can see the propable entries which will be created in FI. But mere running RA will not post any entries to FI

You need to run the settlement. Only during settlement, FI docments will be generated.Pls run settlement through CJ88 for WBS, order - KO88
