Key figure showing zero in export data source on demand planning area

Hi,

I have a key figure showing zeros for all the records in data source(RSA3) based on planning area.

However, in planning book, I am able to see values for this key figure.

What could be the reason?

select the same period for which you are checking into PA .

Hi anup,

We faced a similar problem. The issue was the relevant Key figure was being populated by a default macro. and hence the data was being shown against the Key fig. when in the planning book view option but was not reflecting otherwise in the data source.

We created a background job for the macro and then we were able to see the data in the desired data source.

Hi Anup,

In the planning area in msdp_admin, you can edit the datasources. Try repairing and replicating the datasources.

One possible reason could be that a macro is writing into the key figure interactively, however the save or commit may not be happening to the key figure. Make sure you press edit button and save in the planning book to be absolutely sure that the key figures indeed have non-zero values.

I hope you do not have any update rules configures to the infocube that is filtering out the key figure values.
