Trial Balance

Hi Sap guru,

please tell me where is shown trial balance in sap r/3 4.7version & how to configure in sap trial balance account grouping plus & minus shown becoz my client wants in tally trial balance shown some times plus asset & some time minus asset, same wants to sap. plz tell me how to configure this.

If you want to see the balances you can run S_ALR_87012277 report. If you want create and view Financial Statement Version

SPRO > General Ledger Accounting> Business transactions --> Closing --> Documenting -->Define Financial Statement versions.

Create a new Financial Statement version for your chart of accounts giving maintenance language, etc.

It is like a tree structure.

You group your GL accounts according to your requirement, i.e., Assets, Liabilities, Profit & Loss Statements

You can create sub groups as per your requirement and assign the respective GL accounts. You can also give range of gl accounts or individual gl accounts under each sub group.
