Hi Gurus
Can any one tell me in detail , how the organizational Model is created and why it is done. If possible , could anyone explain with some real life examples.
Thanks in advance.
Hi
An organizational model models the functional organizational structure of your company. Organizational units represent functions such as department, group, etc. Positions show how tasks are assigned to jobs, e.g. end user, purchaser or message processor.
In Scenario Service Desk you can use the organization model for building and retrieving the support team and the Sold-To-Party.
First you have to create with transaction PPOCA_CRM a root organization unit for your support team and antotherone for the company organization.
Then you can build the structure of your support team respectively your company organization. Therefor u use transaction PPOMA_CRM.
*Example-Structure:*
- Support Team Company
-- Support BC
--- Support Employee 1
--- Support Employee 2
-- Support FI
--- Support Employee 3
--- Support Employee 4
-- Support SD
--- Support Employee 5
--- Support Employee 6
-- etc.
- Company Organization Company
-- Busines Unit 1
--- Finance & Controlling BU1
-
Employee 10
-
Employee 11
--- Logistics BU1
-
Employee 12
-
Employee 13
--- etc
-- Busines Unit 2
--- Finance & Controlling BU2
-
Employee 20
-
Employee 21
--- Logistics BU2
-
Employee 22
-
Employee 23
--- etc
