Hi,

While creating sales order system showing error that Material 000000000000000490 not maintained by Purchasing

Please give me the solution for this.

Hi,

If you are using Thhird party sales then system will create PR for the same material and to do so you must have to maintain Purchase view for the respective material.

If you had not created Purchasing View for the material then please go to MM50 and Sellect "Maintenance status" = E and give your Material number and execute and then sellect the Purchasing screen and execute, then system will take you directelly to Material Master screen, please remember that you have to go through all the sellected screen and then save it.

After that try again and create Sales order, please let us know if still you are facing problem for the same.

Hello,

It could be because the material master purchasing view is not active. Go to MM01, input the material master, (don't give any values in the material type and industry sectory fields), select the views, select purchasing, give the plant and enter the purchasing group in the purchasing view of the material master, if you have, other wise maintian 000.

The system will disply a message, the material already exist will be extended. Now try creatin the order.

Hi Rashmi,

U need to extend Purchasing View for ur material in MM01

Follow the below process

Goto MM01 enter material number and enter same material in copy from and select views add purchase view.
