I tried to connect to j2ee by http://(host name):50(instance#)00, I cannot connect.

I was told j2ee was disabled by profile parameter, what that profile to activate

Do you have any clue how to activate j2ee with Solman, ABAP is running file,

Best Regards,

Al Mamun

The parameter is rdisp/j2ee_start - it should be set to 1 to enable j2ee to start automatically when you issue a startsap. However this is the default setting.

Try looking in the log files in the work directory - dev_server0.out, std_server0.out and the bootstrap out files to see whether any errors are being reported and whether your j2ee engine is actually up and running.
