Error in Model Distribution

Hi all,

we are configuring MM SUS scenario with SRM5.0, ECC5.0 and XI7.0. while distributing the model to relevant system we are receiving following error for R/3 system "RFC destination for synchronous communication (message type SYNCH)

Partner profile LS DEVCLNT100 SYNCH does not exist

Generate partner profile or specify outbound partner profiles for message type SYNCH" where as for SRM, model view is created in R/3 but not reaching to SRM.

We have mentained the "synch" in partner profile and all the rfc connections are also working fine as remote logon is successful.

Is it neccessory to complete the XI configuration fully before distributing the model.

Please help.

Hi Ashish,

You will also have to specify message type SYNC in distribution model (BD64).

Dear Prashant,

Model has now distributed successfully. Previously also we have not maintained SYNC in model distribution.....
