What's the use of Mapping Template in XI? please dont post any theards.

Hi Frnd,

Mapping template is created based on current mapping implementation and can be re-used later.

It is created based Message Mapping, has to be complex type.

Mapping template is cross software components boundary.

The step to create it simple, select source node, select target node (their child node should be mapped already)

right click on the target side, choose create template.

load template: in future, if you have same source structure mapping to same target structure, then you can load the template

Mapping Templates

Just like you can reuse data types in different message types, you can also save parts of message mappings as Mapping Templates and reuse them elsewhere. Once you have saved a mapping template it serves as a copy template that you can then load into other message mappings and modify to fit your requirements.
