Hi,
I am trying to map three similar strutures to same target sructure( Mapping different partner structures to teh same segment in IDOC). They must get appended as different records into target structure. But I am unable to do it. As soon as I map the target field once, it deosnt allow me to map it again or create duplicate entries for that structure. Can anyone please give any clue as to how this can be achieved?
Thanks,
Srinivas

Hi,
Try mapping with source to duplicate structures...
e.g
say header has fields -->
Header -->
Order type
Sales Organization
Distribution Channel
Division
Now Header has to be mapped to target segment(duplicate segments) E1EDK14,E1EDK14,E1EDK14,E1EDK14(This each segmennt has say 1 filed)
Now first map,
1) Header to E1EDK14(1)
then
Order type to E1EDK14-ORGID
2)) Header to E1EDK14(2)
then
Sales Organization to E1EDK14-ORGID
3) ) Header to E1EDK14(3)
then
Dist. Channel to E1EDK14-ORGID
4)Header to E1EDK14(4)
then
Division to E1EDK14-ORGID
Try in this way and this will definitely solve u r problem..
if any further questions u r welcome...

Hi,
give an example for input and output for your mapping, so that the question is still more clear.

Thanks for your suggestions. Even I tried to achieve this using Duplicating the subtrees in target structure. But I am unable to use the duplicate trees created. AS soon as I try to save the subtrees, they are getting deleted and only one structure is remaining in the target. I dont know if there is problem with my server or same os the case everywhere. I tried this in two servers available to me.
Thanks,
Srinivas

Hello Srinivas,
I have exactly the same problem.
I have to create multiple IDOCs from one source structure
and changed the cardinality as suggested in OSS note 814393.
That works fine, but when I try to duplicate the subtrees
it is always deleted after saving.
Did you solve the problem in the meantime? If so, I would be glad, if you give me a hint.
