Whitespace in XML

I have a record with 10 consecutive blanks as part of it that gets passed into XI via the plain HTTP adapter. When I look at the XML in XI, I noticed that all but one of the blanks have been stripped out. Is this the can or just how it looks in XML?

Hi Chris,

Are you checking your payload in SXMB_MONI ?

If so SXMB_MONI message window will not dispaly white spaces in the message window(though spaces will be present in the message). You can just save your paylod as XML and open with wordpad to view the exact contents of the message..
