igswd.exe is stopped in instance1

hi all

i have installed WAS 6.40 , in instance1 my igswd.exe is not working,i read the note 824281,but it doesn't helpme, when i right click on igswd.exe to see developer trace , it does not show that, due to this my j2ee engine is not working, please give me some suggestions what i have to do. i will be very thankful to you.
