Hi
I am new to the XI development.
Can anybody let me know the configruration step for the file->XI->RFC scenario?
I have a text file which comes from a legacy system. This file data(which will be nothig but a field of 255 character length) needs to be mapped to the import parameter of the RFC.Inside this RFC i am transfering the content of the file to the application server of a SAP system and also calling the transaction FF_5.
Also let me know whether i have to create a message interface for RFC?
Thanks
Debraj
Debraj,
You configure a sender file adapter to read the file.
Create all the repository objects along with mappings.
You will NOT need a separate message interface for the RFC. You can use the RFC itself.
Configure a receiver RFC adapter to make the call to SAP.
