CBS Server Error: CBS failed to communicate with some other server

Hi All,

All my activities are being queued.

when i cancel and resubmit a new activity, it fails to even activate it now - giving the above error.

I checked all the passwords, Administrator pwd had expired which we restored to the original.

When i go to the System State tab in CMS.

Dev environment has only 4 dependent SC's while the other environments have 5 including our custom SC.

Is there any procedure to copy this custom SC to Dev? will it solve the problem ?

None of the previous threads seem of help.

Any one has run into such a problem?

try to restart the server and check if problem still persists
