How to add new line item to SC

Hi Experts,

My requirement is to add a SC line item automatically when the user selects a particular product from the punch out catalog.

I tried to use the method BBP_SC_CHANGE in the Badi BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI. But when I add a line to it_item or et_item here, the added line is not reflected in the SC. Is this the right way or do I need to follow some other way in order to add the line item .

Can someone help me out with this? I'm new to SRM.

Hi. I can't get on SAP to check at the moment, but there is a BADI for transferring items from the catalog.

It is called as items are transferred.

If you use that you can add a whole new item and SRM will thnk it has come from the catalog along with the first line.

To find the BADI go in SPRO and then SRM Server > BADIs and there is a list of them, this one is under "Catalog" I think.

I can get you the BADI name later if you can't find it.

Thanks for your answer.

I found out the right BADI (BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER). I implemented this BADI and I am able to add a line item now when coming out of the punch out catalog.
