Error while creating Sales Order

Hi,

While saving my sales order for two line items it gives the below message

item Missing Data

10 G/L Account

20 G/L Account

As mentioned in the earlier post, make sure your account determination is correctly configured. This can be maintained in the pricing node under sales order in SPRO.The two account group will be KOFI and KOFK and you should maintain it.

I am able to create sales order now thanks for your valuable information,

While running VFO1 the accounting documents are not generated,pls advice.

Hi,

If the accounting document is not generated there might be couple of reasons.

To know the reason

Goto change mode of Billing document VF02, and goto top left corner menu, Billing document -> Release to accounting.

Then you will get the reason why the accounting document is not generated.

The reason might be

1. Revenue Acc. Determination is not done properly

2. Or the G/L account which you maintained might not be maintained properly.

Hi,

Please open your sales order and see the GL accounts -

VA02->Environment-Analysis->account determination .

See whether GL accounts are determined here- most likely no!!

If so, assign the correct GL accounts for the combination of material account assignment category, customer account assignment category in customization as detailed in the earlier posting.

Hi,

Maintain G/L accounts under basic SPRO->Basic Functions->Account determination-> Maintain GL accounts.

Maintain GL accounts under KOFK & KOFI.

Hi ,

We have already maintained these GL account assignments.in the mentioned tcodes as described by you.

I am facing error while creating *Sales Order against account assignment WBS element*.

We are able to post normal Sales order,so please advice.
