David,

How to create/activate this var see OSS notes

#111882 - "Activating content variables" and

#828033 - "Modifying queries not possible, because 0DAT is missing".

but i'm not sure whether 0DAT is installed properly or not.

now i'm trying

[#828033 - "Modifying queries not possible, because 0DAT is missing".]

i will answer soon.

Dear Eugene

Thanks a lot for yout time again .

After i edit this parameter " transport/systemtype = SAP " .

i can create 0DAT variable under "Calendar Day".

however, according to OSS notes.

Variable Name : 0DAT

Description : Current Calendar Day

Processing by : SAP Exit

Characteristic : Calendar Day

Variable Represents : Single Value

have a look at the following screenshot,

http://static.flickr.com/20/71422870_61360f1846_o.jpg

there is no "SAP Exit" option.

What do you think ?

instead of "SAP Exit", do i need to select "Customer Exit" ?

Eugene is my mentor. ^^

with kind regards

p.s. i will try to create LB unit with EN.

David,

It's strange that you have no 'SAP exit' option. It might be a matter of version and SP.

Probably, it is not recommended, but you can try to create this variable manually - in SE16 goto RSZGLOBV table. Try to insert a new record with 0DAT name and parameters like those for existing SAP exit variable, preferrably based on 0CALDAY.

Mentor Eugene,

I guess the issues are related to "Sneak Preview version".

well, instead of creating new 0DAT,

i edited the RSZGLOBV table with 0DAT that i created before.

http://static.flickr.com/20/71437761_de16ddee16_o.jpg

http://static.flickr.com/34/71437760_5236824cc2_o.jpg

so two rows were changed. (from 6 to 4 ).

http://static.flickr.com/34/71437762_ed172b5577_o.jpg

What do you think it is okay ?

Finally, i can get rid of " Component 0DAT (version A) does not exist in the database " message.

therefore i expect everything goes well.

but ..

"Information No texts were maintained in language E for variable 0DAT " comes up.

David,

Did you maintain the description in English for 0DAT in the BEx? AFAIU, the message is related to the description of the variable, not to materials.

DOES THE VARIABLE WORK?

David,

I hope that the variable works.

It was easy to work with you because of the screenshots you posted.

Hi Expert,

How to do that Any Help

The variable 0DAT must be created in the system.

1) Switch transport/systemtype from CUSTOMER to SAP to access namespace

starting with 0.

"Customer Exit", to select "SAP Exit"

hello Eugene /David....

That was a real good discussion happened to handle this issue.

As per the solution in the Note 828033, we need to first change as (our system from CUSTOMER to SAP to access the objects starting with 0) transport/systemtype = SAP

How do we do this?? Plzzz help me providing the navigation steps, as I am not able to create the 0DAT variable using SAP Exit with out the above setting..

Thanks & Regards,

Sapster.

Hello All,

Very nice discussion: Eugene/David.

I am having exactly same error as David had. I tried to follow Eugene's law upto creating 0dat variable in se16 / RSZGLOBV. I dont know how to put/get ID and version, when I create 0dat variable. Also who do I set time stamp when I am creating VARIABLE in RSZLOBV ? Could you please help me out.

Thanks a lot,

Hi Eugene,

Could you please advice on how you were able to set the "transport/systemtype" parameter to "SAP". The field does not seem to be available for change in RZ11. It seems there is a work around but I am unable to find it documented anywhere.

Regards,

Kenneth

David,

Install from business content 0CALDAY again, choosing 'Dataflow after' option. It will install query elements, including 0DAT.

Eugene

hi David,

0dat is query variable, you have to install it from business content. transaction rsa1 >> business content >> click object types in left panel >> expand 'query elements' in middle panel >> you will see variable >> expand and 'select objects' >> entry/choose 0dat 'current calendar day (sap exit)' and click 'transfer', it will go to right panel, click 'install' choose install.

can also do by

transaction rsa1 >> business content >> click object types in left panel >> choose infoobject >> and 'select objects' >> entry/choose 0calday and click 'transfer', it will go to right panel, in 'grouping' choose 'in dataflow afterward', will get 'query elements', try to expand, there wil '0dat' variable, make sure it's marked, click 'install' choose install.

Thanks a lot.

i captured my screen.

http://static.flickr.com/34/71409000_25ec15db45_o.jpg

there is no "0dat" variable.

Additionally,

http://static.flickr.com/20/71410105_78f81c2d3f_o.jpg

this is the screen shot of Query Elements "Variable" List.

Well, my system is based on a Preview Edition (

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/cfc19866-0401-0010-35b2-dc8... )

Is there any solution that i can create "0DAT" variable to escape the error ?

Thanks a lot for your time.

Hi David,

0CALDAY has a reference to 0DATE. If you install 0CALDAY, 0DATE should have been installed also.

Best regards,

Eugene
