Work process hanging

I am having issues from last week time to time all work process hangs on the SAP application server there are 6 application which I saw the same issue and in the work directory for the work process I do see this error

and after recycling the Apps server things returned normal

we are on SAP R/3 4.7 kernel patch level 155

Any body has faced this issue Any solutioin or suggestion

I suggest you update your kernel to a recent patchlevel (235 is the newest) and see if the problem persists.

Hi,

There could be another reason also...please check whether is there any backup scheduled at that time.
