Solman requires dual login?

Hi all,

We have installed Solman 4 .0 and want to configure Service help desk.

We have defined all the business partners and all the required satellite systems. We have also created TRUSTED

RFCs.

When we are logging into satellige system and creating a message, system is asking us to insert user name/password in solman again(just like Remote Login)! though trusted RFC is created.

Kindly suggest me any work arounds.

Thanks and Regards,

Faisal

Is the correct trusted RFC destination maintained in table BCOS_CUST? (check with SM30)

Hi Markus,

Could you please tell me how to maintain that? I have seen in SM30, I think it is not maintained.

What should I put in Appl column and also other columns?

Thanks and Regards,

Faisal

Pleas follow the IMG in Solution Manager:

- SPRO

--> SAP Solution Manager

--> Configuration

--> Basic Settings

--> Standard Configuration of Basic Settings

--> Specify Satellite Systems Connection

--> Define Service Desk Destination in the Satellite Systems

Open the document and see what you need to enter in the fields.

Hi Markus,

Now the information is correcly maintained in the table. However, the problem continues to be same.

What I did is, in satellite system, I mentioned user name/password in the RFC connection for solman.

It worked. Does it mean that I need to provide this user name / password inevery client?

Since the table mentioned by you is client independent. Moreover, the RFC is created as TRUSTED

Kindly help me.

Thanks and Regards,

Faisal
