Job Scheduling

Hi,

We have a requirement where a job should be executed in 1 system, only if another job succeeds in another system.

Both the systems are connected to each other.

Can this be done by triggering events..using BP_EVENT_RAISE??

Or if there is some other way, please let me know.

Thanks,

Saba.

Those dependencies can be much easier solved using Redwood Cronacle which comes "for free" with a Netweaver License.

You can either use the "standalone" version which requires an Oracle database, see

Note 1134748 - SAP Central Process Scheduling by Redwood V7.0.3

or use the "integrated" one which will be installed on a Netweaver AS Java:

Wow...this seems to be a great tool..thanks:)

howevr, v don't have a netweaver license.

The systems in question are R/3 4.7 & SCM 4.0.

In this case would we have to pay for it..it seemd readily available in SWDC.

Let´s say "it depends on your contract". If you wanna use it check with your sales account rep @ SAP, maybe it´s already included.
