Can't login to default DB

Former Member

Dear sirs,

I have installed SAPNetWeaver04SneakPreviewSlimSP11 recently. I have set all the default parameters while installing. My J2ee instance is created as j2e and SAP DB as SAPJ2EDB. but when i tried to log in to the data base with the username and password; i am getting the error message as invalid user. I am sure that my password is correct.

Can anybody tell me what might be the default DB's userid?

Kindly help me..

Sudheesh

Hi,

SAP local database default usn and password:

usn->SAPR3

pwd=>SAP

or

The entry in the default password list for the user SAP with a password of 06071992 is actually an application level user. SAP systems also come with a default user called SAP* within R/3 (not in Oracle) and another user DDIC with a password of 19920706.

Hope it helps

Hi,

For "MYSQL" OR NOW "MAXDB" the default username-> root and

password->empty(no password) is created while installation with all administrator privileges.you can use this account initially.

For ORACLE the default username->scott and the password is ->tiger

Dear sir,

Thanks for the reply,

But still i am not getting the connection from DB manager

This lead me to think in some other way,

I have installed SAPNetWeaver04SneakPreviewSlimSP11 evaluation copy for 180 days. It is working fine. I installed it with J2ee instance as "J2e" and database as "SAPJ2EDB". But i am not able to log in to the default database using Database Manager GUI because of the invalid userid and password entered. i have installed it with all default settings.

When i looked at the datasource to find the userid in the Administration GUI, i found everything including userid, password etc as hide like password chars as given below,

<driver-class-name>**********</driver-class-name>

<url>**********</url>

<user-name>**********</user-name>

<password>**********</password>

</jdbc-1.x>

</data-source>

How can i get the userid and password? Is it hidden because of this evaluation copy installed?

What is the cost for SAPNetWeaver04SneakPreviewSlimSP11?

Your suggestion and help are solicited..

Regards,
