disp+work cannot start after kernel upgrade

Hi,

I have upgraded the kernel from 95 to 133 and when i tried to start, the dispwork is unable to. In MMC, the dispwork show "stopped"

This is Solution Manager system on Windows.

Can someone advise?

The problem basically is ORA-01005: null password given; logon denied

What is your Oracle version?

This line indicates that you are running an Non-Unicode kernel

Is this correct (Solution Manager based on NW 7.0 usually running Unicode).

If the system is supposed to be an Unicode system, please download the correct kernel.

Check for the DB dependent part of the kernel.Check if it is the right one.Also as suggested above,please do check for the unicode kernel.

Tomas was right. The incorrect kernel was used. After re-installing with the unicode version, I was able to successfully start Solution Manager.
