Tax Code determination BADI

We are using BBP_DET_TAXCODE_BADI.

Plan is to get the TAX_CODE before the Shopping Cart is saved and later massage the data.

In the BBP_DET_TAXCODE_BADI IS_ITEM has tax_code but it is not populated before the Shopping Cart is saved.

I also tried to get from e_Tax of bbp_Pd_sc_getdetail in the same BADI but still the e_Tax-tax_code is not populated before the Shopping cart is saved.

Any pointers or any other BADI i can use. Need to have the tax_code field populated before the shopping cart is saved.

Hi Srini,

The normal Tax code definition and the configs as default brings the default tax code when we create the shopping cart. Provided if we have the same tax code keys in SRM EBP

Even we can maintain all tax codes and while the shopping cart is created the employee can select the tax code though one is defaulted

Your requirement is to default different tax codes for different users or what. What is the use of you BADI in this case.
