Can we configure two alert rules in the same alert category ?

Alerting is an function of Runtime Workbench along with Message archiving,End-to-end monitoring, Performance Monitoring,Cache monitoring.
Alerting is no longer dependent on the configuration and activation of end-to-end monitoring. Consequently, the delay between when an error occurs in message processing and the creation of an alert is significantly reduced. Furthermore, you no longer need to schedule the report XMSALERT_PROCESS_DATA_GET as a
background job.The Runtime Workbench has CCMS Alert Monitor thru which You can now configure one new CCMS Alert Monitor per Adapter Engine for
adapter-specific processing errors.Alerts triggered by the Runtime Workbench can now be forwarded to the CCMS Alert
Monitor and displayed there.

Hi,
Yes u can create any number of rules using one single Alertcategory.
While creating an Alert catagory u will be giving the container information and the long or short text and the receipent information who will receive the mails.
so u can use this category as many time u can.
In RWB while creating the rule first u have to select the category from while ur creating the rule.
In Rule what exactly u will gibe the conditions which is the sender and receiver details.
after giving all the giving all the details again u have to click on add the rule then the rule will be added.
after this u can again click on the category and now u can give another rule details.
if u have any problem while creating rules update thread i will send some doc to ur personal mail id.
