How can wer assign a Network to sales Order

Good Morning Experts!

How can I assing a network to SAles order for BOM assignment ...Please clear me the concept....actully I have seen the account assignment TAB in sales order but there is no place to assign the network there..

this is very urgent

Hi,

Please check whether all the configuration settings.

These are the setting one should be looking at for the assembly processing:

Item category, requirement type, requirement class, assembly type, account assignment category.

Make sure assembly processing is happening in your case.

This process is called assembly processing. There are some settings on the material master that you need to make for the material you plan to use on the SO to create the project. I believe there is also a setting on that is driven off item category. Searching on "assembly processing" in help.sap.com will get you where you want to be.

Hi,

You first need to look at the number ranges for the sales order document in SD SPRO.

Also when you save the sales order, it gives a sales order number, Note down this sales order, basically the same number will be derived for the creation of Project definition.

Hi Robert,

A project will get created in background. you can see it in CJ20N. If your standard WBS is E-1004 then project will get created as E-####, where #### is last 4 digits of Sales order.

Hi,

This is a process called assembly processing:

Step1 : Create Std WBS Element

Step2: Create Std Network And assign this Std network to Std WBS element of step1.

Step3: Create a material and assign this material to network.

Step4: While creating the sales order mention the material from step3.

Step4. The Project is created as soon as the Sales order is created,
