Dear Expert,
I have a Dev system and want to perform copy client from one existing client to other existing client let say from 100 to 200. What should i prepare and how to execute client copy?
On the other hand, i want to copy only Configuration Data from client 300 to 200. what kind of profile that i should choose?
Regards,
MAL
u want to do local client copy then usee SCCL t-code and u try to check whether all the files are dumping perfectelly or not in SCC3 t-code.
u need customizing data only right then tick SAP_CUST then only the customizing data will be copied.
Same like Remote client copy SCC9 t-code is mainly used for the Remotelly accessing the Clients data and keeping that data with in there client.

Client copying procedure:-
1) Lock the source client, after this no user can login until the client copying is completed.
2) Create the client in Tcode scc4.
3) Before that create a logical System in BD54.
4) Login in the newly created client with user Name: sap* and password: pass
5) Use the Tcode sccl to copy the client. if you are not familiar with the client copy. Try a test run and then schedule it in background.
6) You can select the needed profile.
7) To view the log files use the Tcode scc3.

Dear
If you only want customizing data, use profile SAP_CUST.
