I am in VA -> cluster -> server -. services -> SLD data Supplier -> CIM Client Generation Settings.
I am trying to save and I get the following error - "Failed to set permissions for domains" I am using administrator for the id so I can eliminate permissions as a cause. If I click on CIMClient test, it comes back successful.
Any ideas?
I did see those notes, but we are on FP 14. The issue seemed to fixed in FP10. As for permissions, I am using Administrator, so I could eliminate permission issues. I don't beleive Administrator is can have any more permissions.
I also opened a OSS message, but it has been 3 days and they have not even looked at it yet. I have called to escalate a couple time, but nothing. I guess Java support at SAP is very limited.
Thanks for the ideas.

Hi Jason,
Looks like the permission issue.
Create a role called "Lcr administrator" and assign permission
"Lcr administrator", "LCR write access" and "LCR read access"
Then assigm "LCR administrator" to "Administrator" User.
After that try doing CIM client settings again.

We are not using HTTPS. I have performed this in other enviroments without issues. For some reason this one is causing issues.
