How to link to same frame with LinkToURL-Control?

Hello,

we are using a LinkToURL control on a WD-Application. We've set the target to _self or self in order to have the link open in the same frame (inplace). But at runtime it always opens a new window. This is not nice, because we'd like to start an other application form a WD-Application inside the SAP Enterprise Portal.

Any ideas how to do this?

The standard target "_self" has been disabled by intent to avoid that applications may destroy the Portal page accidentally. To start another application, use the exit-plug functionality or Portal navigation.

Hello Armin,

using the exit-plug, is it possible to start the new web-application in the same frame, the calling wd-application is running (keeping the current portal header and navigation)?
