Support Desk: Error in local message system - message is incomplete

Former Member

Hy Experts,

we're facing a problem in our Support Desk Implementation.

The support message created in the satelite system is incomplete, the numberrange is different as in SolMan.

If we give our user on SolMan the profile SAP_ALL it is working as expected, message will be created, numberrange fits. (Last Nr. +1, as expected)

If we do not gave SAP_ALL, what probably has to be a good idea, we got the error above.

RFC Back from satelite system is working fine.

The user in SolMan, and in satelite system has following Roles/Profiles:

SolMan ROLES

SAP_D_SOLMAN_RFC

SAP_SMWORK_INCIDENT_MAN

SAP_SUPPCF_ADMIN

SAP_SUPPCF_CREATE

does anybody know witch role/profile out of SAP_ALL has to be added to contact the SolMan Support Desk throug the satelite system???

Point will be rewarded!

Kind regards

Tom

hi,

I checked all the roles and profiles you have given,i think you have missed the most important role for the creation of support message in solution manager SAP_SOL_SERVTRANS_CREATE, you also need the authorization object S_RFCACL ,S_RFC and S_RFC_VERS

with the activity execute for the object SAPSMO*

Hi Varghese,

I'm configuring Sol. Man. in a VAR scenario. I'm having problems when I send the support message to SAP, I created a thread //message error "not authorization to Send notification" DNO031// detailing the error.

Please, could you told me the roles has those users you use to send support messages to SAP.

Me sapusers contains:

ZSAP_SMWORK_BASIC

ZSAP_SUPPCF_PROCESS

ZSAP_SUPPDESK_PROCESS

these roles are copy from standard roles, and are generated and user mantained.

and profiles SAP_ALL, SAP_NEW

On the other hand, the role SAP_SOL_SERVTRANS_CREATE doesn't exist at my SAP Sol. Man. SP16 system. Whcich is your Stack level?

Thanks and Regards

Hi Raul,

SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW doesn´t contain the RFC permissions.

Create a new Role Z_RFC in PFCG, add the Permission object S_RFCACL this works fine in our landscape.

May you have to assign the permissions S_RFC and S_RFC_VERS if you still have the error sending the message.

We are on 7.0 SP15 and doesnt have a role SAP_SOL_SERVTRANS_CREATE either, take SAP_SV_FDB_NOTIF_BC_CREATE instead.

kind regards

Hi Raul,

Sorry for replying late .I have seen the roles which you have created, but for creating a support message in your support system you need to add SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE.I think this could resolve your problem
