Office Control using RTF isntead DOC Files

Hello all,

today I tried to work with the Office Control in WebDynpro. Opening a word document from the MIME repository is no problem, but I want to use RTF instead of DOC for my wordfiles.

Do you know if this is possible?

I passed the XSTRING of the RTF file, but then nothing is shown in the office control.

Hi David,

thanks so far, I already read this help site and I checked the ddic and there is no rtf, but I need a possibility to edit RTF in a webdynpro application. I hope this is possible.

Hi,

I'm facing exactly the same problem. Does anyone know if this is now possible? We are on ERP EhP7.

Currently we do have a working but very slow workaround (download of document, DOC to RTF conversion via script and upload of document).
