I get the following job log for the CHECKOPT (check optimizer stats) in DB13. The ANALYZETAB (update stats) also fails, I have included the job log for this as well. These have been failing for months, used to work.

Job started Step 001 started (program RSDBAJOB, variant &0000000000056, user name BCBATCH)

Execute logical command BRCONNECT On host alp1a03

Parameters: -u / -c -f stats -t all -f nocoll

BR801I BRCONNECT 6.20 (133)

BR280I Time stamp 2005-12-05 18.00.09

BR301W SQL error -942 at location BrLicCheck-32

ORA-00942: table or view does not exist

BR252E Function fopen() failed for '/oracle/AP1/sapcheck/cdrldzev.opt' at location main-9

BR253E errno 13: Permission denied

BR121E Processing log file /oracle/AP1/sapcheck/cdrldzev.opt failed

BR806I End of BRCONNECT processing: cdrldzev.opt 2005-12-05 18.00.09

BR280I Time stamp 2005-12-05 18.00.09

BR804I BRCONNECT terminated with errors

External program terminated with exit code 3

BRCONNECT returned error status E

Probably this is fixed is by running oradbusr.sql and sapdba_role.sql. Read the text in the files for syntax. The first is usually located at c:\users\<sid>adm>\Install, the other in <oracle_home>\database.

Also see OSS Notes 400241 and 134592.

Hi Greg,

I think you landed in the wrong forum with your question, as this forum's for MaxDB/livecache and SAP DB related problems and you're clearly using Oracle.

I've moved your topic to the general WebAS forum, hoping that anyone there can help you.

Regards,

Roland
