DSWP & Netweaver Portal!

Hi All

I need some help on how to get the portal appearing in or landscapes set out in DSWP. We have them in the SLD and set up in SMSY but I am not sure how to get them into DSWP.

We need this done asap so that we can download the new stack for our Portal.

Hi Phil,

If you already have a landscape defined and your logical systems in SMSY then all that is needed is to add them to your Solution(to display in DSWP). In SMSY -> go to "System Groups and Logical Components" -> "System Landscapes" -> Select you landscape to include new system -> Select Change -> right click appropriate column with system type and select "Put in Solution".

I think you have understood something wrong. Please elaborate your requirement.

Do you mean setting up Portal in SMSY?

In SMSY at landscape components you need to add your portal and corresponding product and version (for instance "Enterprise Portal").

Create a logical component containing your Portal and assign the logical component to one of your landscapes.

After that it should be available in the drop down menu within Maintenance Optimizer.
